The Corporate Performance Graph allows CFOs, Treasurers, Controllers, and Investor Relations Officers to meet the reporting requirement of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), which mandates SEC-registered companies to include a company performance graph in their annual report (FORM 10-K).
More than 1,000 corporate clients have relied on Hemscott’s corporate performance graph service since the advent of the SEC ruling in 1992. Morningstar acquired the Hemscott data business in January 2008 and is continuing to offer this service.

The standard Corporate Performance Graph presents a company’s five-year cumulative total return (including dividend reinvestment) versus the return of its peer group index and against the overall market index. In addition to the chart, each client receives the underlying data points and the list of peer group companies as supporting documentation. The Corporate Performance Graph is also available in customised formats.
